We woke up, showered and went for some breakfast. Let the dogs out, and got gas. We forgot uncle Terry's stuff at the hotel and didnt check out, so we had to go back.
I drove from Dawson Creek to Pink Mountain. We stopped to let the dogs out, stretch and hit the road again. We stopped for gas at Bucking horse river, very small place but had a camp that holds around 300 people!
We made it to Fort Nelson where the rain started. The roads are absolutely disgusting. We gassed up and hit the road again. The rain didnt let up and the drive to Muncho lake was a nasty one.
When we finally arrived to Muncho Lake, we pulled up to the Northern Rockies Lodge where we were spending the night. The parking lot was glare ice.
We checked in and sat down to eat. Their menu was very limited. To 5 choices. I thought I was safe with the Hungarian goulash. I was wrong.
Trying to drop the dogs with stomach cramps was brutal. It didnt help that you couldn't even stand up on the ice. Uncle terry took a good fall with a dog. He's ok though, just a bit sore.
I got back to the room, drank some pepto and went straight to bed!
