SNOW SNOW SNOW!
Today we had a truck full of dogs, a couple quads, and some great company. My brother Terrance and friend Keith came out to help run dogs! We went up north outside of town to the winter road that is used to go to Fort Chipewyan. The road is awesome for training, it's all sand (NO MUD) and with the snow it made for an awesome spot for the dogs to build wicked muscle. We ran a total of 40 miles, which in my books is pretty impressive for the end of October! The team looked awesome throughout the run and enjoyed the new trail... different things to see, different texture on their paws, and of course the snow!
The drive back to town wasn't as much fun. Icy roads and rush hour traffic made for a slow and long drive home. It was an awesome day however, and I would like to thank Terrance and Keith for all of their hard work!
I would also like to thank everyone who has supported me along my journey so far! You guys are all awesome and I appreciate the support!
