Adopt a Husky
Every now and then we have sled dogs that are available to be re-homed to a more low key lifestyle where they can experience new life adventures!
All of our dogs are healthy, up to date with vaccinations and we would love to give them to a loving home where they can continue to have a job…even if it’s keeping the couch warm! Retirement is a reward for their many years of hard work as exceptional sled dogs, so if you have space in your heart and your home for these sweet dogs please let us know!

Scarlett
Scarlett is an 8 year old Alaskan Husky looking for a well deserved retirement after being a key member on our race team for many years!
She's a very loving girl who thrives off attention, she really is a princess and will make a great house dog. Scarlett gets on well with other dogs and has been catching on fast to walking nicely on the leash. This girl can be vocal like many typical husky's... she likes to talk! For more information on Scarlett please send us a message through the link at the top of the page. |

Success Stories
Flo was adopted out to Sarah in 2017 at 5 years old after retiring from competition, she was always more suited to cuddling on the couch!

What Flo's new owners have to say:
We are excited to report that Flo is doing very well here with us! We've noticed that nature brings out the best in Flo. She becomes excited, curious and adventurous when she is off leash outdoors. She is great with other dogs and models great behaviour and obedience. She has a natural pack mentality and fits well into a group too. She's been accepted into two great doggy day cares, K9 Club and DogHouse Day Care, both with fairly high standards (and facebook pages! So you can see more Flo photos online). Flo is calm and submissive. People often comment on how beautiful and well behaved she is. She is very intelligent and quick to learn tricks and she has surprisingly great recall. Flo is easily distracted though and very driven to chase rabbits and squirrels. Flo relishes in a good belly rub and melts into any hands willing to give her a good face and ear scratch. Flo naps often and seems drawn to comfort. Flo is often found laying in the sunshine, not unlike her feline counterparts, for hours on end. |
Hazel joined our family in 2013 - and we have had a ton of fun along the way.
Hazel is high energy - obviously, she loves to run! From day 1 she has been vocal about that once she sees the leash. Hazel is excellent on the trails and off-leash. She has her quirks - laying on the back of the couches like a cat, but we love her nonetheless! Hazel has brought a lot of activity to our household in a good way, and we call her the “look-out”. She is extremely alert and aware of her surroundings. She is able to sense wildlife before any other dog around us when camping and exploring the outdoors and makes sure we know when she is nervous about her surroundings. These are extremely smart, athletic and agile dogs and while Hazel has high energy - she also loves a good couch rest |
When I adopted Bowser he immediately fit right in. He quickly became my best friend and we did everything together. He is excellent off leash and has very good manners!
When my daughter was born Bowser quickly took to her as part of his family. He keeps a close watch over her and they are inseparable, especially during nap time! |
